Client Guidebook
Starting somewhere new brings a lot of small questions, and this guidebook answers the practical ones first. We cover the daily structure, phone and visitor policies (these vary by program), working closely with your case manager, and the ways your family can stay involved while you focus on getting well.
Client Guidebook, The Details
The first week in treatment can feel disorienting, and knowing what each day holds tends to settle some of that anxiety. We put this guidebook together so new clients and their families know what to expect from the start.
Most days follow a predictable structure. You can generally count on:
- Morning check-ins and a group session before lunch
- Individual or specialized therapy in the afternoon
- Time set aside for meals, rest, and personal reflection
Phone and visitor policies are not one-size-fits-all. They vary depending on the program you are enrolled in and where you are in your care, so ask your case manager for the specifics that apply to you.
Your case manager is the person who coordinates your care and answers the practical questions as they come up. We encourage you to bring things to them directly, whether it involves scheduling, medication, or a concern about home.
Families stay connected through scheduled calls, family sessions, and updates that respect your privacy. We keep loved ones informed within what you are comfortable sharing.
