Individual Therapy
Talking one on one with a therapist gives you room to say things you might not share in a group. At Cobb Recovery, individual therapy sits at the center of most treatment plans. We meet with you regularly, track what is working, and adjust the approach as your needs change.
How Individual Therapy Works in Treatment
Sitting one on one with a therapist can feel unfamiliar at first, and that is normal. A session is a private conversation, usually about an hour, where you and your clinician look at what is driving the addiction or the mental health symptoms underneath it. We ask questions, we listen, and we work on practical skills you can use between visits. Our licensed clinicians build this into your larger treatment plan, coordinating with the rest of your care. As you make progress, we adjust the focus so the work keeps matching where you actually are.
