Family Therapy & Support
Addiction rarely affects one person alone. It reaches into households, marriages, and the relationships between parents and children. At Cobb Recovery, we include family therapy as a core part of most treatment plans, giving loved ones a place to be heard, ask questions, and rebuild trust alongside the people they care about.
How Family Therapy & Support Works in Treatment
Addiction and mental health struggles rarely affect just one person. Parents, partners, and siblings often carry worry, frustration, and questions they have not had a safe place to ask. In family therapy, a licensed clinician sits down with the client and the people closest to them to talk honestly about what has happened and what needs to change.
We use these sessions to rebuild trust, improve how everyone communicates, and set healthy expectations. As the client progresses, we adjust the work and keep it woven into the wider treatment plan.
