Packing List for Treatment
Deciding what to bring can feel like one more thing to sort out before you arrive, so we keep it simple. Pack comfortable clothing, your ID and insurance cards, and any prescriptions in their original bottles. Leave valuables and non-essentials at home. We handle the rest with you.
Packing List for Treatment, The Details
Standing in front of an open suitcase the night before treatment starts is a strange feeling. You want to get it right, and you are not sure what "right" looks like. We can make that part simpler.
Here is what we recommend bringing:
- Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing for about a week, plus a few layers
- A photo ID and your insurance card
- Any current prescriptions in their original, labeled bottles
- A small amount of cash for personal incidentals
- Basic toiletries (unopened or with the seal intact when possible)
Some things are easier to leave at home:
- Alcohol, mouthwash, or products containing alcohol
- Valuables or expensive jewelry you would worry about
- Weapons, sharps, or anything that isn't essential
If you forget something, that is genuinely fine. Families do it all the time, and items can usually be brought later or picked up nearby. When you arrive, our team will walk through your belongings with you, answer questions, and help you settle in. You do not have to figure out arrival day alone.
